Kaikoura again...

Come the next day it was time for my second stop in Kaikoura, this time involving spot of seal watching again and then some lazing on the beach as the clouds finally began to clear.

That evening I was once again part of the quiz team, this time consisting of Taxi, Lucy (a Devonshire Lass), Jamie and ? from Calgary and ? from Sweden. Although Lucy and I had both one a quiz the previous time we were here, luck was not working for us this time. We held the lead convincingly until the penultimate round where a few bad calls meant we put down the wrong answer even though we had the correct one...and then there was the final round where two precious points were lost and we came in at an oh-so-frustrating second place! Grrr! I guess two bar tabs would be greedy though. Shame.
